S2 does not see all networked computers

it sees the 2 new vista laptops when they are on and it did see one of the XP desktops but not the other.

what needs to be running for the S2 to see it? the server?

i know i cannot run the desktop on multiple computers.

i have had 3 show up on the list. the 4th does not have TTG installed so guessing it won't show.

It needs TiVo Desktop, Galleon, or one of the other Tivo compatible media servers. You can run TiVo Desktop on multiple PCs.

I have 2 S2 and 1 S3 TiVo's; I also have Desktop installed on 1 PC. The server on the desktop sees all three TiVo's. Each Series 2 TiVo sees the Series 3; one of the Series 2's (a TiVo Box) also sees the desktop. Neither Series 2 sees each other anymore. The Series 3 sees the Desktop and one Series 2 (a Toshiba Box). In short, some see the desktop, some don't and no TiVo sees both of the other TiVo's. The network is obviously working. The Series 2's have exchanged many a program during the past year, but became blind to each other when the TiVo ToGo feature on the Series 3 became active.

Any ideas out there on how to force recognition of all the machines that are on the network?
