I bought a Tivo HD and it was delivered on Oct. 22. I immediately called Tivo and purchased the $199 lifetime service transfer from an old series 1. The $300 charge for the box showed up on my credit card statement right away, but as of today, November 3, there is no sign of the $199 charge. How long should it take for this charge to appear on my statement? Has anyone else seen the charge appear?
Thanks-
dave

When I did it Sept 2006 it happened pretty much immedietly. You can go to tivo.com and check your account and charges to see if the transfer 'took'. You might have to call 'em back and try again.

I didn't do the lifetime, but rather purchased a 3 year TiVo subscription back in early September and it took until late October for it to show up on my card.
I transferred lifetime from my series 1 to the HD and was never charged the $199, even though I gave my credit card number. I found out because my series 1 became deactivated instead of getting the 1-year extension. I called Tivo and the CSR confirmed that I wasn't charged the $199. I was told I could activate my series 1 for a year for $179. I confirmed my Tivo HD has lifetime at Tivo.com.
