How do I upgrade from tivo to go 2.4a?

When I ask it to check for updates, it tells me I have the most current version; I have desktop plus enabled. I'm assuming that I need 2.5 for tivo to come back; is that correct? thanks

Just download the latest 2.5.1 software from here:

Thanks. To install 2.5.1 requires that I first uninstall 2.4a. Will I lose my recordings when I do that?

Nope. Any .tivo files you already have will still be there. Even your Plus key will be retained.
