View Full Version : Question about an upgrade I just did

I used the Mfs Tools boot cd to transfer everything over to a new drive on my Series 2 TiVo. The old drive was starting to screech. The old drive was 120gb, and the new one is 160.

I see my additional storage, and almost everything seems to be working fine. The only thing I'm concerned about is that the shows that were on "Now Playing" before the upgrade show a message saying that TiVo wasn't able to record the show because it didn't have a video signal. I know the shows were recorded. The same message shows for all of the recently deleted shows after I restore them.

Has anybody seen this before, and does it indicate a problem with the upgrade? I don't care about the old shows, I just want to be sure this isn't indicative of a bigger problem that's going to show up later.

Thanks!

Had the new drive been in a different tivo if so you may have to do a clear and delete everything. Suggest you re-ask this question in the forums at www.MFSlive.org. :)

Do you recall the command line options you used.

You might want to start over with the MFSLive (http://mfslive.com) CD there are some fixes to the original MFSTools code.
