Any show that name drops Arcade Fire is cool in my book.
I enjoyed this one. Have to admit that the car seat scene had me giggling. Also, this was the first episode that Morgan didn't annoy me. I definitely think this episode was a step in the right direction!

I usually enjoy Chuck but I thought this episode stank worse than my job's men's room at 10:30 am.

Sarah in this costume did not hurt anything either. :)

Is that a snake on your shoulder or are you just happy to see me? :D
I liked the sand worm also. And the slave girl costume.
So, when you walk into Chuck's room you often see shots of two movie posters, one I can't quite place but looks familiar - it right inside the door and the other wall is one of Dune. Anyone know what the one inside the door is?

He has one of Tron.
In the pilot he had one of North By Northwest.

Though her normal Wienerlicious outfit is not too bad either.

It's like every day is Oktoberfest at Wienerlicious. ;) All she needs is red ribbons to tie up her pigtails.

I liked the episode, but the ejection seat was just a bit over the top for me.
But it was SO funny that I had just watched the end of Goldfinger on MGM-HD Sunday night and then they use the same scene about difusing the bomb on here Monday night.
My husband and I just realized the Asian guy who got the assistant manager's job is the same guy who plays one of forensic guys on Dexter.

I am really enjoying this show and look forward to it a lot more than "Heroes" on Monday's. A lot of the pop culture references are great for someone my age (37), as I grew up on "Tron," "Dune," etc.
It's interesting though that Chuck is 28 (?) on the show. That would put his character at the age of 4 when those movies and lot of the references made were popular. I'm thinking the WRITERS are my age. ;)

I dunno, I didn't think that costume was that flattering. Sure it shows off her midsection, but doesn't do much for her boobs IMO.

yeah... But he has a point about the breasts. The top covers up too much considering their size. Still, hot as hell. But she looks hot in anything. :)

Speaking of the Leia bikini, there is a massively NSFW picture available online of a woman who had the latticework portion of the Leia bikini top tattooed directly onto her breasts. It's fantastic, and I imagine I' not allowed link to it. :)
However, if you google for "the gold bikini to end all gold bikinis" (including the quotes), the first returned link should get you there.

Thought this one was kind of meh, wardrobe aside. The series needs to figure out what its worst impulses are and reign them in. Less Morgan is more. And all the technology stuff they pulled this week went beyond silly to stupid. The government genius designing consumer products was dumb. The home theater system that can nuke San Francisco was ridiculous. And the compact car that secretly contains a right-drive mechanism AND a bomb -- I repeat, tens of thousands of those cars rolling off the assembly line with hidden right-drive mechanisms and bombs in them, and sold to you and me -- well, actually that went beyond stupid. And that's saying something for a show with the premise that a computer has been downloaded into a character's brain.
I know we're not supposed to think too hard about that stuff, but if they can't bother to ground things in some kind of reality, I can't help it.

I thought they'd made a point of telling Chuck they modified his Nerd Herd vehicle in a prior episode.

+1
Yeah, it was my understanding that the items they were referring to, such as the set-up in the video room and the car, were brought in by the government to replace the items that were originally there.
That's why the guy agent is able to communicate with his superiors in the AV room. I didn't think he could just go into any room with a tv and stereo system and talk to his superiors.

I'm liking this show more and more, and I agree with the person who said they are looking forward to this more than even Heros at this point. I know everyone loved Sarah's costume, but her simple blue sweater at the beginning of the episode REALLY showed off her assets well. This is my second favorite show of the new season after Pushing Daisies. Also like Reaper a lot too. I love shows that are different and quirky.

Don't they need more outlandish stuff like this? I mean, I think they need to go for more humor and craziness than try to be too serious.

Is that right? Guess I had forgotten that. That helps a little. But they modified it with a bomb?

I'm on the fence right now with Chuck; the past two episodes have definately defined "meh" for me. I think they need to reign in the number of characters and settings. There's always something going at home and at the Buy More. It just seems like too much to cram into an hour.
I really would have liked to see Morgan get the Asst. Manager job--have his "new persona" impress the HR guy so much that he just gives him the job. We could get rid of the stupid tension with Tang, and give Morgan a little more logical role in the show.

Any other "OC" fans out there notice the scene where Chuck runs home to Morgan and the Halloween party with "Dice" playing in the background? It was almost identical to the "The Countdown" (Season 1) episode of the OC where Ryan runs to meet Marissa at the New Years Eve party...same song, same sequence, etc...I thought it was pretty funny that Jason Schwartzman snuck that in there. :)

I like Tang's costume. He reminded me of Yul Brynner in 'West World!'

Don't get me wrong, the Austrailian chick is hot, but the girl who plays Chuck's sister is way hotter IMHO.

Every time I see her I think of Pam Dauber from "Mork and Mindy".
