The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly gives its opinion on five new shows that deserve a viewing. They are:
Reaper
Aliens in America
Bionic Woman
Back to You
Dirty Sexy Money
How they can have Back to You on the list and omit Pushing Daisies is beyond me. But that's my opinion. I will agree with Reaper, the rest I've never seen.
Five shows you couldn't get me to watch again. Guess that's one reason we don't care for EW :)

I agree with Reaper and Dirty Sexy Money. The others, not so much.
They also had suggestions for five shows that need to be saved, including Heroes and Friday Night Lights.

Reaper - check
Aliens in America - check
Bionic Woman - Still sitting in a folder in my NPL. Haven't even seen the pilot. Yet.
Back to you - Gonna give it a week or two more to improve the writing and then it's a goner
Dirty Sexy Money - I'm still intrigued a little bit. We'll see...
I like them all except Bionic which I'm saving for a rainy day. "Back to You" is by far the biggest disappointment in the bunch. With that good a cast, I expected better writing.

Dirty Sexy Money is the only one I would recommend others watch.

I'm not sure what to make of Bionic Woman. Seems like all the episodes are the same. No real forward movement on the story lines.
Gossip Girl should be on the list in its place.

"Dirty Sexy Money" is alright, but not exactly "need to watch" material.
"Bionic Woman" is quite a turd, and its inclusion in this list makes me very unlikely to take EW's advice about the other three shows that I am not familiar with. "Back to You" was already pretty unattractive to me because of the casting.

Dirty Sexy Money is just plain dirty sexy fun. With money.
And Zoe McLellan is on my short list. For this season, anyway. :)

Watched 2 Bionic Woman, can't decide if I want to watch the rest, maybe some very boring day.
Back to you, not very good
Keep forgetting to check out Reaper, so doing that now.

I would replace Back to You with Life.
I am guessing that these are shows that are not doing real well but need a little support. Since Gossip Girl already got picked up for full season there is no need for it to be on list.

Reaper: No
Aliens in America: HELL no
Bionic Woman: Never seen it and don't plan to
Back to You: Meh. Tried it, but my schedule's too full as it is.
Dirty Sexy Money: HELL HELL no. Abysmal show.
And yes, Gossip Girl should definitely be in there.

Reaper is the only one of those on my watch/record list, and it's mostly a 'record then watch at a later time' than a 'must see' for me. It's OK, but it's nothing overwhelmingly good.

I'd replace Back to You with Big Bang Theory, but the fact that Bionic Woman and Back to You are on the list make me think that EW and I just have completely different tastes.

I watch the dramas and have no interest in the sitcoms.

I watch Reaper, and kind of watch Bionic Woman, and have Dirty Sexy Money recorded, but I wish they'd have Life on that list.
Life is better than all five of the shows listed, IMO.

Reaper - Had promise but ultimately just disappointing
Aliens in America - Never seen it, not really interested
Bionic Woman - Watched a few episodes and gave up.
Back to You - uh uh
Dirty Sexy Money - Couldn't make it all the way through the pilot.

Reaper - watching it but not lovin in; often bored.
Aliens in America - watching it and almost loving it. Sorta Malcom in the Middle meets Freaks and Geeks.
Bionic Woman - watched the first three episodes; can't get into it. I think my main problem is I think the actress they hired to play her (forget her name) is seriously miscast.
Back to You - never watched it; not interested.
Dirty Sexy Money - One thumb for the show, one thumb for Zoe McLellan, and a third thumb for Tamara Feldman.

I thought this was a curious list, since none of the shows are exactly critics' darlings. I'm happy to see Reaper on the list, although the show has some obvious issues that will sink it if they aren't addressed, and soon. Back To You is a competent traditional sitcom with some occasional genuine laughs, but nothing you haven't seen -- a lot -- before. Dirty Sexy Money is a primetime soap with no more ambition than to be a primetime soap with a provacative title. Aliens in America had a winning pilot and not much more. And Bionic Woman hasn't done one thing right, except maybe for having Michelle Ryan speak in her normal English accent in last week's ep. And, as far as I can tell, those opinions are shared by most critics and audiences out there. So: a curious list indeed.

Reaper - Yes!!
Aliens In America - ok to funny
Bionic Woman - only good when Bionic Starbuck is around
Reaper: Enjoy this show.
Aliens in America: Super, super hilarious
Bionic Woman: Watched the first two episodes - meh - might try a few more
Back to You: Not a fan of traditional sitcoms
Dirty Sexy Money: I'm enjoying it

Chuck should be on the list over a couple of those shows.

Bionic Woman - only good when Bionic Starbuck is around
I think this is the only reason I'm still watching this - she's REALLY good at being evil. Sorta like an extra payoff at seeing an alt-reality version of Starbuck... then again it's hard to tell what S4 of BSG will turn her into .... the last...oops wont say

Pushing Daisies is the only show I can think of that really fits the title.
I also watch and enjoy Reaper, Chuck, Journeyman. But not enough to recommend them highly to others.
I'd actually recommend AGAINST bionic woman, back to you, aliens in america, dirty sexy money, and gossip girl.

Dirty Sexy Money is just plain dirty sexy fun. With money.
And Zoe McLellan is on my short list. For this season, anyway. :)That's the only show on the list that I am watching, and for the reasons Gray says. Except it's Karen and Natalie for me. And now I know Juliet is 25, I don't feel nearly so dirty. ;)

Is Heroes in danger of being cut? I hadn't read or heard anything. They do need to thin out the cast some - too many new people that don't really add anything to the story.

Is Heroes in danger of being cut? I hadn't read or heard anything. They do need to thin out the cast some - too many new people that don't really add anything to the story. Not at all in danger. The title of the article is "4 shows worth Fixing", not "Saved". With a sub-line of "some of our favorites have stumbled out of the starting gate this season; Here, we identify the problems and give advice on how to fix them". It's not about shows that are close to getting cancelled but they think should be kept around.
