Anyone if Razor will be on UHD any time close to the OAD on SciFi? I'd much rather watch it in hi def ...

Bah! Don't taunt me. I left D* because they were so slow to roll out HD locals in Seattle. Then they dumped Tivo. I went to Comcast and just rejoined the Tivo fold with a Tivo HD. Now I'm realizing that Comcast Seattle is quite possibly the addled step child of the Comcast family as we always seem to be the last to get new HD channels. I expect we'll see Sci Fi HD here in, oh, about 5 years...

I'm surprised to see Dallas in the list. It's rare that they (Hollywood) even consider "The South" a demographic worth caring about.

The irony of all this is that I didn't sign up immediately because I didn't know which time slot I wanted. All the slots filled up really fast and I've got no spot. :(
Did anyone on here sign up for either Mountain View showing or a 10 pm San Jose one and can't go? If so, PM me. I'd love to take your spot.

I promise not to post spoilers here.
However, for the folks that have grown disenchanted with the series, that thought it got SO far off track in Season 3, that feel like the series has gone off on some crazy tangent... you will love Battlestar Galactica Razor.
Tonight was the first time since the middle of Season 2 that I felt like I was watching a real BSG episode. It was quality writing.
And it doesn't feel like a TV movie, either. It doesn't fall into the pitfall of prequels (where the whole thing is predictable) or into the doldrums of TV movies made between seasons (where the production values are low). This was a real BSG event. It felt important, and Razor was just incredible.
I'm going to pre-order the DVD now.

Couldn't agree more. It was amazing. Really gives me hope for the rest of the series. Definitely have to get the dvd as it looks like there is a ton more scenes that weren't shown on it.

Just so the others of us who saw it by "other means" don't get lost in the shuffle of this new thread:

So, could someone who saw it comment on whether it's safe to watch if you haven't watched the second half of season 3? Just haven't gotten enthused enough to watch them yet, might wait for the hd-dvd's.

Mostly, there are just two 'links' to the final episode of Season 3, but nothing you might consider a spoiler. As long as you've seen up to the middle of Season 3, you should be fine.

IIRC, I think it's reasonably safe to watch it.
If you wait for the HD DVDs, you'll be waiting for awhile I think. After the credits, there was a plug for season 1 on HD DVD coming soon. They didn't mention anything about the others. Season 3 isn't even available on DVD yet.

I saw this on Monday in Mountain View. It was really cool. The best part was the crowd reaction when...
the old school cylons appeared on screen and that classic robotic voice came over the speakers.
Kind of weird to watch a TV show in a movie theater. It still felt like a TV show.
