I posted this in the Help Center with no replies:

Do all Philips S1 TiVos with Service Numbers beginning with 000 and 002 have identical S/W so that their HDD's can be swapped w/o any compatibility concerns? Thanks for any info.

What are the model numbers? Here is the software numbers from that you can see which are identical. http://www.dvrupgrade.com/dvr/stores/1/comparison_chart.cfm
