I have the Motorola RG2200C cable box (Qwest Choice TV) with an ethernet conection running from my wall to the box that supplies the tv and internet data. There is no signal from the coaxial coming from the wall, thats why they use the ethernet connection. Does anyone have this box and has figured out a way to have the dual tuner option?

Any help would be great!!!

Kevin

This is a tivo forum. Do you have a tivo question?

If not, avsforums would be the place to go for a better response.

No it wasn't. But in any case, you need coax signal to use the dual tuner functionality. Can you have the cable company turn that on?

Did you get it to work?
I have the same cablebox but different cable company, Didnt understand how to get the dual tuner to work. So the cable company has to offer this? my phone and tv come in together on one Cat5. Any thoughts, when I try to set up the tivo as dual tuner I can not get any signal.

You cannot on the service offered with that box. You need to get analog cable to take advantage of the Dual-Tuner. You can use it as Single-Tuner with that box, using A/V from the gateway and the IR blaster to it.
