So this is my HR20, not Tivo, but the guide for Monday shows How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Two and a Half Men, starting at 12:35am on Tuesday. Anyone else see this? I am in the Denver area. The guide also shows the Broncos game being televised on CBS on Monday night, not on ESPN as usual.

This happened a few weeks back in the Atlanta market as well when the Falcons were on Monday night football. They showed the game on ESPN and CBS and showed the regular Monday night shows in the middle of the night the following Sunday, not in HD I might add.

This happens in Boston too when the Patriots are playing on Monday Night Football. I think a local station has the option of broadcasting the game since not everyone gets cable and ESPN, and your local CBS station has picked up that option.

Depends on how KCNC is set up for HD Delay.
If they think ahead, they should be able to air them in HD, as they are using (to the best of my knowlege) the same HD Delay system we were before we upgraded.
It'll be much easier to air them in SD only and upconvert though.

They did this also in Dallas. But CBS has a sister station, and they showed the game on that, and the normal lineup on CBS

Our local NBC affiliate shows their A.M., 5, 6 & 10 pm news in HD, then Leno and Conan in HD after the 10 pm news. In the wee hours of the morning, they replay the 10 pm news, then reruns of Leno & Conan, and all of the wee hours stuff is SD. I'm not sure why they do things that way, but I'm guessing your late showings of the CBS Monday line-up will probably be SD as well.
Lucky for me, the local affiliate that carries the ESPN stuff is ABC, so my recording/viewing is never affected by them carrying the game - nothing on ABC that interests me. :)
