Differences in 9.1.L5 vs. 9.1.01?

Two days ago, I received an update to the 9.1 software release for my two Series 2 boxes.

9.1.L5-2-240 was replaced with 9.1.01-2.240 and for the first time I received a message saying that the fall update was here. The 9.1.L5 version a couple of weeks ago just arrived silently (no message).

I want my slow MRV listing woes to disappear and they haven't but anyone know what's up with the L5 vs. the 01?

There's no difference. "L5" indicates the "public beta" release which is pushed to a small number of boxes before the official release to gauge customer support issues. One the official release is out, everyone gets updated to the final release version, which is almost always identical to the early release.
