11 more episodes gives the show a more than full 24 episodes.
So far I'd rate it one notch above the typical shlock of Sitcoms out these days. That's not saying much. One would hope it vastly improves over time.

I agree with your assessment.
I am a fan of the sitcom though, so I watch most of them.... so I will keep watching this one. Not great.. but not horrible.
Perhaps a different background would have helped. Not sure this one is really what these characters needed.

I can't stand this one. The sets are WAY too busy. I thought this one would be much much better but it hasn't even gotten a better groove as it goes on. There's no subtlety in the comedy - at all.

I'm still on board, but like it less than I thought I would.

I think without this show 'Til Death would probably get pulled by the *$%#^ at Fox since there wouldn't be a full hour block of comedy. So I am glad for the full season order.

+1
I was really pulling for this one. I've been kind of disappointed so far, but I'll give it a little more time.

It sucks less than most of the sitcoms that have been on the last few yrs... (Plus C/V = Patricia Heaton lover!)

It sucks less than most...Not a "ringing endorsement"! I had high hopes, but it makes me want to find reruns of "WKRP in Cincinnati".

The Thankgiving episode of WKRP is a Holiday Classic ! He/I says as if anyone would not know that.
This thread is the definition of damning with faint praise.

I gave it a good long time to get funny...but it just didn't pop with us...we cancelled our season pass on the DVR...if it gets funny, let me know.

Yeah. It's sure not as good as the promos made it look. I find myself cringing at some of the writing. Some of the jokes are SO "not funny". If Kelsey and Heaton weren't in it, I'd have cancelled it after the pilot. As it sits, I'm gonna give it a little more time for the Network to try and "fix what's broke". They have an amazing cast. Now the show just needs some amazing writers. Easier said, than done.
