Wow this may be a record. 3 minutes in and this episode looks like its going to really suck.. Lionel has Kathy Bates for a nurse! Lana's been a bad girl and I guess will need to rehire someone else! :D Ummmmm I'm no doctor but wouldn't Lana be snapped in two like a twig when her and Clark hit the ground?

I kind of enjoyed this episode. Clark catching the actress being thrown from the car looked really cool. And I'm sort of enjoying dark Lana. :)

Kind of interesting to see Lionel actually kill someone. Usually he probably has others do his dirty work.

I actually didn't mind this episode either. The previews made it look like it was going to be a stupid "Hercules/Xena" Comedy hour, but it had more drama than humor (although it was there).
I agree that Clark catching the actress falling out of the car looked pretty cool.

As Clark was looking at the gun, I started to hear the opening voice over from the 50's series play back in my head: "Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, . . ." :)
Yes, I'm that old.

Well, it wouldn't be a problem if Clark could, you know, maybe fly or something.

I thought for sure that this would be the moment that he would figure out how to fly -- or at least land gracefully.
But noooo...
I'm thinking that the very last scene of the series finale will be Clark flying up, up, and away.

I don't think I'll be kidnapping Lionel Luthor any time soon.
Christina Milian is very, very nice to look at.
The new Daily Planet editor is probably the worst character on tv now that Cissy Yost has passed on to Cancelville.

And I'm sort of enjoying dark Lana. :)
There were a couple of moments when she almost appeared to be acting.

I have to say, Lana has finally turned into an almost interesting character.

I don't know if this is visible in HD only, but look at the article Lois hands in about Lionel being found. The first two or three paragraphs are really about Lionel, but the next paragraphs are leftovers from the second meteor shower. It even mentions mother Teague and son being killed.
Someone in the props department is lazy. :)

Well, he had to somewhat flying, since he was falling faster then gravity to catch up with her.
I liked this episode.

actually if you look closely with the tivo in the scene with Clark and chloe at the daily planet. Clark came in with a comic that he showed chloe I freeze the frame and am convince that it's the original Action Comic #1 that's being shown not that Comic the story was based on.

As soon as the starlet appeared with the giftbox at the end of the episode and mentioned it was something from the set, I knew it was going to be a red cape. I hope, though, that it's not THE red cape. I much prefer the idea of Superman's cape being made from his swaddling blankets from the crash of his ship, stitched together by Ma Kent, to this allusion that his cape is just a prop from a comic book superhero movie. Much less romantic.

Yeah, cause a show about a Kryptonian who rocketed to earth as his planet exploded and he has powers far beyond those of mortal men is so grounded in reality and physics.

Clark catching the actress being thrown from the car looked really cool.
And they tricked me, too. As he was crouched down while the debris flew past him, I was thinking, "Yeah, right, how come in Hollywood the debris always flies past and never hits the hero?" And then WHUMP, the car door hits Clark.
Smallville out-thought me! How often can you say that?!? :D
I must also say, the moment when he caught Lana was seriously cool. On the other hand, I think they wasted it; that should have been the moment when he learned to fly, and now the moment when he really DOES learn to fly won't be as cool, because we've already seen what should have been it, if you know what I mean.

It could still be cool - just think: what's more important to him than Lana?
What's most important to the Superman we all know and love?

I liked this episode.
It would've been fun if he had landed on one of Lex's cars though, instead of a generic automobile.
Wow. Christina Milian is hot.
