Quick question for those who may know... With the THD on the network, could the eSATA drive be used as a network share in addition to expanded storage for recordings? I know, maybe not the best idea, but i'm curious. Thanks!

No, it formats the entire drive, plus the tivo would have to have a samba or nfs server on it. I imagine maybe if you hacked it possibly, but outside of that, it's a definite no.
