View Full Version : THD, TTG, 9.2 and Access Denied

I came home and my TTG status in the settings window still says i,i,i and I'm getting access denied errors when I run the desktop software to see what I can transfer.

I've got 9.2 and have rebooted twice and transfers is enabled on the web site.

Is there a way to kick start this thing?

Force a connection....

Did you go to tivo.com and make sure that you have transfers enabled on your tivo?

Forcing now...and I have checked the site to ensure I have transfers enabled. Will post back when the forced call is done....Thx!

Nevermind.. I was thinking you meant force a connection between the TiVo and the PC

grrrrr..

I can't get this thing working.. MRV is working, I have the latest TivoDesktop program..


I am now starting to doubt that I even have the 9.2 update.. Compare the screenshots.. My Tivo says I have 9.1-01-2-648 and the other is from this (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=371359) post.

Nevermind again.. I just looked and saw that you need to request the update and it wasn't an official release.

You dont need 9.2 for TTG/MRV. Go to tivo.com and to your DVR preferences. Make sure you name it and check the transfers allowed box. Wait a couple hours and force a connection or twelve. That should do it. When the i,i,i is replaced with a,a,a then you are ready to go. Also check to see that you have a media access key.

Are you sure you don't need the 9.2 update for TTG?? I cant get it working no matter what I do...

Are you sure you don't need the 9.2 update for TTG?? I cant get it working no matter what I do...After you change the setting on your account, as indicated above, it still takes a few hours. Wait a few hours then force a connection to your Tivo under Settings -> Phone & Network.

It could potentially take even more than a few hours, if Tivos systems are bogged down by hundreds of requests.
