I've never had MRV until now (previously I had a S1 and S2), however, I'm curious if its possible to push a recording to another unit or is it only pull?
Also, with the the esata support and mrv now being official, I'd really like cooperative scheduling between the units, and while I'm in fantasy land, how about a tivo media extender? (i.e. a THD without tuners, but everything else :)
ahh.. how I long to be able to store content on my larger system and watch anywhere and move as i like and schedule as i like :)
its only a matter of time, I'll wait for a year for cooperative scheduling, but I'd rather have it in the spring update or a hidden feature of 9.2 :)
Only pull. No cooperative scheduling. Its been asked for for years.

For storage, you can use Tivo Desktop. You can pull all you want from your Tivo's (as long as they arent copy protected) and save on the server. You can even set it up to autodownload all of a series. Then you can pull it back to any Tivo in the house at any time.
TTG and TTCB are 'pull' only afaik.

ahh.. I "knew" that..
We never really used the S2 as much as we thought we would.. the S1 was our primary device until we replaced both with S3s and as such, while I have read about all of this tech for years, its "new" to us :)

I know.. I agree that stabilizing the base is important at this point. I'm quite happy, very happy actually, over the official MRV/"TTCB"/etc as well as the eSATA support that we now enjoy on the series 3 systems.
