Is there a way to get the TiVo startup animation (where TiVo goes down the slide) to play without going through the boot up process?

I know most people would do anything to skip the animation, but I have young kids who love this and would actually rather watch it than any of the recorded shows!

It used to be that the tivo button followed by 0 would play the animation. Not sure if this is still true.

I think you can simply press the TiVo button during the animation to proceed directly to TiVo Central.

Man that is way more elaborate than the Series 3 startup video and probably the longest startup video I have seen so far.

When I first saw it on mine, I thought it might be a special video for the first time it booted out of the box. But, it's the regular startup video.

Must have kept the attorneys busy for a while licensing all those clips. :p

Is the TivoHD startup video actually all in HD?

It sure looks that way to me. Runs about 75 seconds.
