If anyone is interested, tomorrow (October 15) is the debut of Drew Carey as the host of The Price Is Right.
I hope they've updated the set for the first time since 1962. :p

I assume you're rounding off, since the original version only lasted until 1965.
But if your objection to it back then was the fact that the host had a crewcut and thick-rimmed glasses (http://userdata.acd.net/ottinger/cullen/), I think you might have problems with the current version. :D

I watched it as a little kid and then later as a teenager so I may have seen both versions. The premise of the game is boring to me.
