when i start the TTG desktop and search for files it comes back with "cannot find dvr"

now my service is not fully active as i just got it last week and the activation dept is having trouble doing the activation,

but should i not be able to see the tivo device?


it connects to the network just fine and "calls" the server in the AM as scheduled

i am on a temperary status and am running out of space as i was recording on high ASSUMING i would be transfering to PC.

Can you ping the box? Can you log into the web page http or https?

If not, I would wait until they get your account straightened out. Doesn't surprise me it wouldn't work without an active account.

don't know they said they sent it up to the highest level support. been a week now, they had to extend my temp status.

maybe ui should send it back and start all over again
