AT & T "Bundling"

I (allegedly) get a $10 discount on my bill due to "bundling" several other services (Internet/Long Distance/Local/Cell Phone). The $10 shows up quite haphazardly from bill to bill.

I recently downgraded to the Family plan to save $$$ because I mostly record OTA and plan on giving the cable TiVo Series 3 a tryout.

Does anyone know if the $10 bundling discount will apply to the "Family Package?"

Not sure about that, but don't count on your bundling discount lasting too much longer.

I have heard via news reports that AT&T is in preliminary negotiations to buy Echostar. And to help fuel that, the tech that recently installed my HR20 told me that at the end of the year that AT&T would be offering bundling with Echostar.

not sure I understand their incentive with their U Verse being rolled out. Unless they want Dish for those markets where UVerse will not be available.
