View Full Version : Software upgrade scheduled for DirecTV DVR with TiVo??

I could have sworn that a month or so ago there was a message on my DirecTV Series 2 DVR with TiVo saying that at the end of the year, new features would be downloaded to my DVR such as Swivel Search and Home Networking(?). But I don't remember EXACTLY what the message said.... Did anyone else remember getting that message and remember what it says?? I no longer have the message on my DVR.

That particular message, is about the updates that are "tentatively" scheduled for early 2008

Do you remember exactly what features the tentative update was supposed to include. I have a good deal on a USB wireless adapter but i don't want to waste the money if it won't do me any good...

Sure hope that new release isn't as buggy as ver 6.3 turned out to be. What a stinker of a version update that turned into.
