I have not had great experiences with Roxio in the past. Is there another commercially available software that can convert a Tivo file to MPEG2? I am NOT asking for hacks or work-arounds. Thanks.

VideoRedo just converts the Tivo file to an open mpeg format. You'll still need something like Nero to burn the mpeg file to DVD.
VideoRedo is a decent program. It removes the commercials for you with Ad Detective.

I did a search and read about it after both of your posts. Thanks for the reference. Just downloaded the trial version (see that it only converts 30 minutes...should be enough to try it).

If you register (not necessary to pay $ yet), you will unlock the 30 minute restraint.
