Just a survey to see what shows people still are behind on/have backed up on their TiVo...
Mine are: Pretty much this past season of Lost,30 Rock, half the past seasons of Ugly Betty, L&O, L&O SVU, My Name is Earl, Without a Trace, and Supernatural.
I really need to get a new TiVo just for storage space alone....

BSG, but I'm actually catching up on that right now.
Until last weekend, I was behind on Smallville too about 1/2 season, but I'm up to date again.

Two episodes (still) of The Tudors in the can, haven't watched them yet (from first season of same, ended months ago now).
Three episodes of House with one about to roll off my DVR.
Nuked without watching 30 Rock, and The Office (I have the first 2 seasons on DVD haven't watched any of the U.S. version since I so thoroughly enjoyed the U.K. version and didn't want to deal with the comparison of the two shows that I know I would make).
Two episodes of The Closer, maybe three.
I'm up-to-date on most everything else and hope to get through more of the backlog tonite (momentarily).
With baseball season finally over, and less live sports programming that I want to see going on at night, I have more time to watch stuff so having a few things in the can is a good idea.

I've still got the entire first season of Heroes on one box ... one of these days I will "catch up."

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch Journeyman yet, and I have last week's Daily Show episodes on there still. That's about it.

Heroes is well worth catching up on. Once you get started, you'll probably go through several episodes in a sitting.

I just finished the last season of Gilmore Girls. I just couldn't bring myself to watch it until now. We finished the entire last season :( in a week.
We are 2 seasons behind on Lost. We were behind on Prison Break but we just decided to give up on it and deleted them.

About Prison Break.....good choice giving up on it...I stayed till the end of the 2nd season and think it should've ended there. Its clear the writers were forced to take at most a 2 season idea and try to stretch it way beyond its breaking point.

I thought I was behind on a few things. But, I'm not nearly as far behind as some others have mentioned.

I have the last 5 Jericho's from last year, waiting to see if CBS actually brings it back before I commit.
Just finished The Tudor's from whenever it aired,
deleted the last 5 Studio 60's figuring I'd never find time to watch now that the new season of shows has started.
Not admitting I watch Desperate Housewives, but I have the last 2 from last season to finish up so I can start in on this season.
Couple of cable series have 2-5 episodes still in my NP list
(can't remember the names of them, oh ya, Greek is one)
Only new season shows I'm caught up on are Chuck and Reaper, have the premieres or 2nd episodes of the rest still to watch.
Most of the returning shows are still sitting there waiting, Heroes is the only returner I'm caught up on.

We have to watch all of season 2 of Prison Break (plus whatever has aired of season 3). We have 8 episodes (7 1 hour episodes and the 2 hour finale) to watch of the last season of 24.
I have five episodes of Firefly that I'm watching for the first time from UHD.
One of these days I'll watch Heroes, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Office. I have them to watch, but haven't actually watched any.

I've only watched the first 3 episodes of Jake 2.0.
For the original run, I recorded every episode, but only watched the first two before I decided it was low priority and I deleted everything to make room for "better" shows. Scifi channel aired the entire one season series back in January of this year and I've only watched the first three episodes, but they are all there waiting for me at the bottom of the NPL on my 500GB S2 and I will watch them.
I also have the entire run of "Pepper Dennis" on another Tivo. I've only watched one episode and I'm doubting that I'll ever watch any more. I should just delete it all now.

- the last 11 Battlestar Galactica (a month ago, it was 20+ eps)
- last season's The Shield
- last season's Rescue Me
- last season of Rome
- any of my season passes from last week because of a bad week at work

I'm caught up with new shows but from the summer I still have:

- final 2 of Burn Notice
- all 3 of The Company
I've got to burn them off soon...

We caught up on the two- or three-hour season finales for Doctor Who, Eureka and Painkiller Jane yesterday, so all we have left in backlog are:
- 3 episodes of DAMAGES
- 3 episodes of ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS
- 5 episodes of MEERKAT MANOR
- 2 episode of STARGATE ATLANTIS
- 1 episode of HOTEL BABYLON
- 1 episode of LIFE IS WILD
plus stuff that recorded yesterday, which we will watch tonight.
DAMAGES -- not sure we'll finish watching this series, but I heard it gets better in these last few episodes.
STARGATE ATLANTIS -- we'll watch this eventually, but I'm rather hoping that we can wait around long enough until it is shown in HD.
LIFE IS WILD -- not sure we'll watch this series at all; we'll see what the reactions are.
The rest will just be filler for us, and while we're sort of building up the backlog now, the way things look, we'll start burning it off by 11/4.

I had a stockpile of 10 episodes of Burn Notice.
Now I'm all caught up except for the last episode.
Good show.
I have the last couple episodes of a few recent shows, but that doesn't really count.

I'm behind on just about everything I watch
--2 episodes of 4400
--TAR: All-Stars entire season
--5 episodes of BSG
--entire Burn Notice, Tudors, Damages, Mad Men
--second season of Rome
--this season of Weeds, The Unit, Ugly Betty, Prison Break, Cane, Chuck, Journeyman, K-Ville,
--5 episodes of Big Love
--8 episodes of Dexter
--10 episodes of Eureka
--2 of Kitchen Nightmares, SG: Atlantis, and The Ultimate Fighter
--all 3 of The Company
And I have to catch up on Heroes, Bionic Woman, Survivor, Kid Nation, and a couple of other shows online/On Demand that I missed. I'm already looking forward to the Christmas break so I can catch up on some of this stuff.

I think for me the question is more along the lines of what I'm not behind on. Running joke at work is how much I've got on my tivos that haven't been watched. I've actually started deleting stuff that's come out on dvd since I can netflix those seasons. Including that, off the top of my head I think I'm behind on the following:
Burn notice (entire season)
Damages (entire season)
Rescue me (entire most recent season)
Doctor Who (season 2 and 3)
Eureka (entire last season)
Shield (2 seasons)
24 (at least a couple seasons)
Rome (2 seasons)
Tudors (whole season)
Las Vegas (couple seasons)
Prison break (watched the first handful of season 1, haven't watched rest yet)
Heroes (entire last season)
Dresden Files (entire season)
BSG (second half of 3rd season)
There's probably more, but I can't remember it off the top of my head :)

From prior to this season: BSG, Psych, Eureka, Desperate Housewives. We also pretty much stopped watching Without A Trace and CSI: Miami, but still have them on the TiVo if we decide we want to catch up.
As for this season so far: CSI, Back to You, Cane, Big Shots, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Smallville, The Office, 30 Rock, House, Life, Bionic Woman

I've gotten to the point that any major shows I'm not keeping up with, I delete and just wait for the DVD to come out (which I can Netflix for "free"). I decided this after letting S3 of Lost back up on the TiVo, causing me to lose episodes of Heroes (forgot to KUID :o).
So here are the shows I'm currently Netflixing:
Heroes (waiting for the last disc to arrive, TiVoing S2)
Veronica Mars (still in the first season!)
I'm waiting for the DVD release of:
Lost (S3)
The Shield (S6)
Dexter (S2)

I just caught up on 3 episodes of Mad Men this weekend.
I'm behind on first two episodes of this seaon's SNL. (I forgot to set an SP for this season, so downloaded these two from usenet this morning, haven't watched yet.)
I'm also behind on 2 episodes of Californication; probably 3 after this week.
I had let my TiVo record Ken Burn's "The War" series but then decided I likely wouldn't get to them until regular series go into repeats for the Holidays. Given they were eating a lot of space on my S2, I opted to delete a couple days ago and will either buy or rent the DVDs.

I'm behind on damages and the riches. Some sort of FX prejudice maybe.

I decided this after letting S3 of Lost back up on the TiVo, causing me to lose episodes of Heroes (forgot to KUID :o). I apply the Netflix approach as well, but only for programs that aren't HD when broadcast. While DVDs provide nice PQ, HD is noticeably better.
However, even then, I do record the programs, and so far we've "caught up" pretty consistently with our backlog so that we have a choice between no television or watching the SD versions recorded. Hopefully, this is the year we make that transition (just in time for a lot of the SD shows to be delivered in HD anyway).

I'm always behind on just about everything, so I'll only count stuff from before the big premiere week at the end of September.
Just finished the last few episodes of Smallville from last season last night, but the reason we were behind on that was because my antenna signal was out for my CW channel for a few weeks without my realizing it, so I had to wait until the reruns this summer.
Missed a bunch of Veronica Mars for the same reason, but they didn't continue with the reruns so I'll have to watch the last 5 or 6 episodes when the DVD's come out.
I have about 30-40 episodes of High Stakes Poker, World Poker Tour and 2007 World Series of Poker piled up.
Not sure how to define "behind" on shows that I've been watching on DVD from Netflix. We wanted to finish season 2 of the 4400 and season 1 of the closer before the fall season started, but we still have about 5-6 episodes of the 4400 and 3-4 of The Closer to go. I'm still about mid-way through season 3 of nip/tuck, but now that I'll be able to get the new season in HD, I suddenly want to get caught up. I'm sure I won't get there before the season premiere, but I guess by my own decision to start watching it "on TV" instead of on DVD, that'll be another show I'm behind on.
Oh and I have about 7 or 8 Simpsons episodes from last season I still haven't watched.

I stay caught up pretty well. Probably because I don't have the spare storage space some of you have.
I have all the episodes of Grey's Anatomy & Private Practice from this season still to watch. However, I am thinking about dumping them without watching them. I am just not excited about them.
I have all the episodes of Planet Earth still on TiVo, although I have watched parts of all of them.
I watched the Season 1 DVDs of the US version of The Office. I watched a couple episodes of Season 3 on TV. I am watching Season 4 as they air now. I just received Season 2 on DVD for my birthday yesterday. I will get caught up eventually.
I usually have the last 4-5 episodes of Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert on the TiVo and watch them when I catch up on everything else.
Other than that, I am usually only a day or two behind on current shows.

I have a 40-hour Series 2 so I'm constantly time-shifting episodes so they won't delete. I'm way behind, due to the 12, 13, or 14 hour days I was pulling last week in helping set up our store. I'm off Friday and Saturday so I plan to see a movie or three (Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Michael Clayton, Across The Universe) and then have a marathon viewing of all of these. Keep in mind this isn't counting an episode of Boston Legal here, an episode of Reaper or Supernatural there...
The Boondocks
Journeyman (3, soon to be 4 episodes)
Heroes (3, soon to be 4 episodes)
The Big Bang Theory (1)
How I Met Your Mother (1)
Life (2, soon to be 3)
Moonlight (2)
Big Shots (1)
The Office (2)
My Name Is Earl (1)
Bionic Woman (2, soon to be 3)
Dirty Sexy Money (the pilot; I'm soon to be three episodes behind.)
Bones (the season premiere; I'm soon to be three episodes behind with this series as well.)
Veronica Mars (the final two episodes)
I'll update everyone with the progess I make this weekend. And here I was thinking TiVo simplified my television viewing habits... :D

Last 5 episodes of BSG. I guess we should watch those before the prequel movie next month, or the new season comes out in a couple of months.
Aside from that, I think I'm only a week behind on a couple of shows. I don't really count that as 'behind', per se.

It would be easier to list the shows I'm not behind on.
But a couple of the most behind are:
Season 5 of Alias (most of which is on my old DTiVo. Never seem to get around to switching the tv to its input)
Heroes. (I think I'm on the 3rd episode. Of last season)
Supernatural (About episode 4 of last season)
