I believe the screens on these are wider. How does TivoDesktop Plus files display on the larger screen? Is there a better way to convert them for the wide format or does the iPhone/iPod have a strech mode?

The iPhone/Touch elegantly and automatically resizes the video to fill the screen. It doesn't stretch or distort, but it does crop. Double-tap on the screen, and the video snaps to its original size, which might mean letterboxing or pillars. Personally I can't stand knowing that anything is being cropped, so I always watch in original mode.
