I haven't really been following this series, though over the summer I started watching it as they appeared in my Suggestions folder. I've really been enjoying it so far. I guess I found this episode interesting for the slightly different take on the Bloody Mary urban legend than appeared in the episode of Supernatural some time ago.
Is that really the origin of "Dead Ringer?" Creepy.

Yes, the Dead Ringer expression is derived from that practice. The bells were implemented after some coffins were moved and they found scratch marks on the insides of the coffins.

Yes!
Thank you, it was bugging me.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact they changed all the sets and other than mentioning they got new furniture they seem to be hoping we don't notice?

Played by Kris Lemche, who was "Cute Boy God" on Joan of Arcadia.

Obviously he is now "Cute Boy Demon."
The twins look absolutely scrumptious in high-definition. :D
The show's spookier take is holding my interest, as well -- as long as they don't abandon the underlying sweetness that makes the show different from all the other supernatural thrillers out there. And they better not mess with the Melinda-Jim relationship -- don't stick Professor Payne in there to mess it up.
