I have a 720p Panasonic Plasma TV. I receive HD and, of course, SD programming. Should I set my H20's resolution setting at 720p; 1080i; or native so that I can receive the best picture quality?

I'd leave it on fixed 720p output. If you have an HR20, why are you asking here?

There's a long thread at DBSTalk about this, I know this cause I wanted the answer today also.

The consensus answer is to try all options and see what works best. If you set to Native then the TV does the upscaling and the channel changing is slightly slower. If you set to 720P on the HR20 then the HR does the upscaling and channel changing remains a little slower.

I'd leave it on fixed 720p output. If you have an HR20, why are you asking here?

You had time to type that but not to answer or even point him to another forum ????

I vote for 720p.

I have a 720p Panasonic as well and set the Hr20 to 720P with native off.

Some information can be gleaned here, but it is better form to direct it to www.dbstalk.com. Some folks are very sensitive about it.
