View Full Version : Way to tell TiVo about new channels?

Is there a way to alert TiVo of new channels on your cable system? Cox San Diego added TBS-HD on Monday (four days back) and there's still no programming information for it in the guide.

Call tivo and tell them. The probably either need to add the guide data to their system or figure out why your tivo hasn't synced yet.

Yes. Call Tivo and tell them. Have a list of channels that changed or that were added ready. Get a case number from the person you talk to and if the channels aren't updated in a week call them again and have them escalate it.
I had the same issue from Sept 14th until Sept 28th (2 weeks) when our local Time Warner move the NBC, CBS and PBS HD channels. That sucked big time since I had to set lots of manual recordings.
