Path to HR10-250 upgrade

Hello, I'm planning on purchasing a HR10-250 to take advantage of the the over the air hd stuff. Wanted to know what I need to do , if possible, to upgrade the unit so that my existing drive in my non HD DirecTV Tivo is included.

I've upgraded all my previous Tivos, so can figure out that stuff, just wanted to know what the best approach is for expanding the base disk space in the hr10-250 while maintaining my existing programs. I can either close the content to the base disk and add a 2nd drive or add the old drive as a second. Not sure which route is best.

I don't know if it is possible to do what you want but you should check in the upgrade forum.

The guys at the
DirecTV HDTV TiVo Powered PVRs subforum ( http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=36 ) know a lot more about HR10-250s than us SD only guys.
