Pan and Scan

This is my first season with HD. I love the definition! I've tried to adjust my screen for pan and scan but it looks the same in both modes. I never get the zoom. I can live with it but it's making the screen much smaller.

To get the stretch and zoom modes to work you will need to set the HR10 to output 480i. Then try the Widezoom mode on the Sony for SD.

I got that part but I'm talking about when it is in 1080i mode. I can't get the pan and scan to work.

Some televisions have limited modes when showing an HD resolution. Check your owner's manual to see what mode is available at what resolution. When I bought my Mitsubishi, I made sure that all picture modes were available at all resolutions.
