Hi everyone,
I have an R10 in my living room with two coax wires running from
the dish. I would like to add a DVR upstairs and have run two more
coax wires but need to know what I need to do to the dish to support
4 wires. Thank you.

Multiswitch. See the sticky thread right above in this forum.

newer dishs have 4 leads coming out of them so you could run two more wires to the dish. If your dish only has 2 connections you really need a new dish.

Why? A bigger multiswitch (if necessary) will do what he needs.

So the OP has a Dish with wires running from it, and has Four Feeds. Two sets of wires running to Two Seperate DVR's.
Does the Op currently have a Multiswitch?
The best way would be to have the Wires from the Sat run to a Multiswitch. Then from the Multiswitch to the DVR units.
So what setup exatly does the Op currently have? Dish, Multiswitch etc etc.
Knowing what the current Setup is would be best before any suggestions can be given. :D

True, but going on his post it sounded like he only wanted to add another DVR not channels. :D
