Can someone explain how the devil connected with the main characters? Is he dead? or what?

basically, the main character's father was sick a long time ago and the devil came to the parents and offered them a cure but the price was the soul of their first born child. So to get around this the mother and father said they wouldnt have any children. However, they were told by a doctor that they were infertile but 9 months later they were pregnant. It turned out that the doctor was approached by the devil as well and ( i forget why) but he was forced to lie to the parents.

Alerting us to the fact that your tivo didn't record something is still not what this forum is for. You need help figuring out why it didn't record (that's what the help center forum is for) or you need to discuss parts of of the episode that you missed (that's what the now playing forum is for).

This forum is to alert people about upcoming program schedule issues that could or will affect an SP recording, so that people can take action as necessary.

There is a very good reason that the creator of TCF created a forum specifically for the purpose of discussing episodes of TV programs. Ever hear of spoilers? you know, openly discussing the details of a show however minor those details may be. People don't like to read things that spoil programs they haven't watched yet. Those spoilers are allowed in program specific threads in the now playing forum. Outside of the now playing forum, it is a bad idea to discuss details of any show without the use of spoiler tags like this

Editing your post to remove spoilers or to "spoilerize" with tags would be a good idea.
