Tivo HD Problem

Hello

I just added a TivoHD as an addition to my S3. However I am having a problem with it.

Occasionly when I turn the Tivo on, I see a gray screen and nothing else. I can press the Tivo button and I do see the main menu. If I try to play a recorded video it just gets stuck on the "Play now" screen. If I press 'Live TV' on the remote it goes to a gray screen and doesnt play anything. No video/audio.

Only way to resolve the issue is to reboot the unit. Which I can do through the menu.

Firmware version is 8.1.7c.

Any ideas?

I also lose Live TV - total grey screen - must do a Restart - very annoying. PVR works i also have the new 9 version of software - which does not fix this. What is up Tivo?

having this exact problem on a TivoHD and v.8.1. no cable cards installed yet.
