Is there a sanctioned or known working USB to wired ethernet adapter for an older series2 HUMAX box?
I don't currently have wireless, and don't want to install it just for this.

www.tivo.com/adapters or here (http://customersupport.tivo.com/LaunchContent.aspx?cid=d263b68c-3df2-43a2-b7d5-fb0fae1ea86d&anchor=undefined) for a longer list.

Ive been using the D-Link DUB-E100 (versions A1) for nearly three years. The only time they go "offline" is during a power outage..a restart of the affected Tivo's put everything right!

I have been using the Linksys USB200M for about the same time and I have never had a problem with it, other than the funky jack it uses. For a while TiVos were incompatible with certain versions of this adapter but recent TiVo software gets them all.

I prefer the Linksys USB100TX. Never have had a problem with them. I not only use them for Tivo, but also as an adapter for my USB Printer to run on the Homenetwork.

I use the linksys wired on both tivos, so much faster than the wi-fi !!

The100tx is USB1.1 only though. A bit slower if you don't mind it.
