<name this dvr at tivo.com>...how long should it take?

ok, I renamed my S3 atleast 3 days ago and I still see the <name this dvr at tivo.com> message. how long can this actually take? all of my other tivos changed on the first day but this one is being stubborn. what can I do to get the name to change? will a reboot possibly get it to change? I have forced at least 10 connections so far and the name hasn't changed.

You probably won't see the name until November when Tivo enables MRV and TivoToGo on the Series3 and TivoHD.

When Tivo activates those features, your Tivo name gets activated too.

My S3 used to show the name, but no longer does.

My TiVo Series 3 had its name until this last update (9.1), but without MRV you do not need the name on the TiVo itself, as the name is on the TiVo sight for remote secluding etc.

When I asked of this when I spoke with customer service, was told this issue would be resolved in a future update...


It's bad enough that the most sought after features of Tivo Desktop don't work, adding insult to injury... :down:
