View Full Version : Gossip Girl pilot on iTunes *spoilers*

I haven't watched it yet (mostly because it doesn't seem to play back on my iPhone), but the pilot to TheCW's Gossip Girl is available for free on iTunes right now.

I've tagged this thread with spoilers, in case people want to discuss the contents. Given the unique pre-release, pilot nature, the spoiler policy may otherwise not be apparent.

Downloading it now...

I've got four NBC shows on Unbox and now this one in iTunes. It's going to be a weekend of watching TV -- on my iMac. Boy, that's weird.

I watched it.

Seems like a pretentious version of Beverly Hills 90210, if that is possible.

I have two predictions for this show.

1) It finds its audience and appeals to them, and is on the air for 5 years making some teen-idiols of some of the cast.
2) It goes off the air after 3 episodes.

Weird. I added this to my shopping cart, via the link, and it didn't show up! My cart seemed totally empty. Then I tried to re-add it, and it said it was already there.

So I added something else free, and "purchased" that, and when I started downloading, Gossip Girl began to download as well.

Very strange.
