Another good episode. At least a few places we were laughing so hard we had to rewind and go back. It looks like Carter is going to start remembering more and more. It should be interesting when he puts all the pieces together. And they're slowing moving the plot line with the kid forward as well.
It did seem a little strange to me that so many of the Eureka folks would get religious so quickly, although the suck up Larry studying a bunch of religions to cover his bases was funny.

Bad house! While on that topic, has Sarah's voice changed?
Jo looked real perty with her hair out. Thank Jesus that Matt Frewer's character has been awol.

You'd think with Matt Frewer associated with a show like Eureka, they would try to work in at least one Max Headroom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Headroom) reference/homage.
Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing a little electric romance between Max and Sarah!

I wish we would have seen some Callie. That was the woman's name from last week that is obviously interested in the sheriff right? I'd like to see that develop.
And Jo is so very hot.

See, I thought Jo's date was rude to her. It wasn't her. It was him. He was being condescending to her because she enjoyed the practical applications. He basically told her that was stupid. No matter how cute the guy is, I'm not going to date someone who doesn't respect me.

Yeah, that whole subplot went in an unexpected and disturbing direction.

While I see your point, I didn't take it that way. I thought he just didn't realize how what he was saying applied to her; he didn't intend it to be a statement about Jo; Jo took it that way.

Did the video seem too dark to anyone else? There were parts of the episode that I found difficult to tell what was happening.

Except that he explicitly corrected Jo when he made the comment about building / thinking the particle physics experiment.
Anytime she made a '.. i did this..' comment, it was met with a '.. yes, but...' return.

Actually, I thought he was a jerk, too. He just didn't know he was a jerk.

The was one of the better episodes!! I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Took me a minute to put together the widow with the doctor from Stargate SG-1, but I finally got it!!

When listening to the guy and how he handled that conversation, it reminded me of a a little expression I heard on last week's (I think) episode of My Guys: "******ous". :D

I thought he was rude also but I took her issue with it as, maybe a smarter woman would be able to appreciate his view better than she could.
So while he was rude, it was also a point of, she has issue meeting anyone in town because they're idea oriented people while she's hands-on oriented.

Is that the same guy that Carter burned down his plants in one of the first episodes? If it is did he gain about a 100 pounds?
I liked the show alot, Left you wondering who really fixed everything.

Sci Fi always is.
Well, THAT'S just not true.
Yeah, sometimes the picture on Sci-Fi is dark and crappy.
But sometimes, it's bright and crappy.

You cool guys have to take off the sunglasses when you watch TV. It was ok on my 57" HDTV but I have my TV back lit and all other light off,.

Yeah, he was being a jerk, and he didn't realize he was being a jerk.
I think Jo also knew he was being disrespectful, but she inserted her own insecurity about being smart enough in a town of geniuses.

I didn't notice it was worse than any of the current SD stuff on USA or Sci-Fi. At this time Eureka is the only show I'm watching on Sci-Fi, but I have thought the picture on USA wasn't very good on a couple of the Dead Zones when the action was in the dark. I think these are two channels that could use an HD version.

As soon as I saw Teryl Rothery I shouted out at the top of my lungs "law of unnecessary guest stars!" and glory be, I was right, as the call of LOUGS would imply, they were the catalyst to the events of the evening.
Why oh why do the gods and goddesses of TV insist on it always being the guest, just once I want them to go right up to it being them, then having it be a bit player while they smile at you and go 'PSYCH OUT!'

Frankly, I found this episode pretty feeble. But I'm glad other people liked it. I guess it wasn't bad, just not my cup of tea. But the plot felt incoherent, rushed, and arbitrary to me.

(In fact, I'm surprised the mods didn't lock the episode. Not the thread about the episode, mind you, the episode itself. :p)
