Dialup Numbers

Somewhere there used to be a place on Tivo's website where you could lookup dialup numbers to see if there were any local numbers in your area but I can't find it, can someone point me in the right direction?

I think they're down to one local number now - somewhere in Manhattan. Everyone else is out of luck. :p

So you're forced to use wireless to download updates?

Check the link that stahta01 put in his message. If you don't find a local number then using the internet (wired or wireless) is probably your only option if you don't want to pay long distance charges.

If you do find a local number, try calling it with a phone and see what happens. If it doesn't answer call TiVo.

If you only have dialup, may need to acquire an external modem and a router that has a serial input for the modem.

Or use connection sharing with your pc.
