TiVo Series 3 Remote

I have two TiVo Glo remotes. am I the only one that has this problem? Both of the two I have after 6 months the crome started flaking off?

Yes, my trim paint is coming off as well. There is another thread here on the fact that many of us have the button paint coming off too.

All three of my glow remotes look pristine. I've been using them since December.
