screen freezing

My tivo freezes and then doesn't record any programs . How can I fix this? I am tired of missing all my season pass shows.

This happened to me. My Tivo was dead. :( Don't buy a new one from the company called Weaknees. I purchased a new one that had a bigger hard drive from them, had to sign up for an extended contract with Directv for it through Weaknees and the new Tivo DIED within a year and Weaknees said OH WELL!!! I paid a few hundred bucks for it and they didn't back it up or protect me, yet made me sign a new Directv contract through them. They got my money for the suped-up tivo, they got Directv's money for signing me up, and in the end, they didn't stand behind their product. Call Tivo or the company you get your tv service through (cable, directv). They will be your best advocate for getting a new one. I agree, it's your hard drive.
