Do you have a guide with the S3 HD Tivo

Talking to my cable company (Knology), hey said that with the cable cards I would no longer get PPV and Music channels (big deal) but, that there would also be no guide. My question is how does the S3 HD Tivo know what and when to record. Oh, and by the way...how do I ???

you'll get tivo's guide instead. on my time warner cable account i still get the music channels over my cablecards. of course your cable company may differ.

Your guide data comes from Tivo (why else do you think you're paying for the Tivo service? :D ).

Thanks for the help guys. The HD DVR Box is $12.95 a month the cards are 1.95 each, big diff. :) :up:

You can't order PPV through the S3, but you may be able to call them up and order it and then manually tune to the correct channel.
