Tivo remote with my new Goodman's HDTV

Hi all,

haven't been on these forums for a couple of years, but I've just bought a new little HTDV for the bedroom (where TV was relegated too when I got SkyPlus) and I can't get the Tivo remote to control the volume.

It's a 19" Goodmans, 720p jobbie with integrated DVD player. Model no. GTVL19W17HDV if that helps at all.

I've used all the remote codes for Goodman's listed in the Tivo remote control setup but none of them do the trick. Any suggestions?

- Try adding 1000 to the existing codes
- Try looking for codes in the PDF from this link...http://www.tivobugs.co.uk/RemoteCodes.htm
- If that fails you can buy a new 'Glo' remote from http://www.tivoheaven.com/remote.htm or http://www.9thtee.com/tivoupgrades.htm or eBay (probably) - it's a true learning remote so you can teach it your TV codes.
