Clouds background

Am I able to retrieve the clouds image that is used on the TiVo menu system?

Is it a static image or animated image or a movie file?

It's an MPEG2 movie IIRC. It' s in the database somewhere...

You can find the reference to it in:

/mfs/Resource/VideoClip

via TiVoWeb.

You can then use mfsexport on the FSID you've got from there to save it as a TY file on the TiVo, FTP it over and use TyTool to convert to MPEG.

Hmm, is there anyway I could get this to use as a background on a web page?I'm not sure that any browsers support animated page backgrounds.

Mind you, I've turned off all animation in my browser for the past 6 or 7 years, so I may be out of touch. :p

TyTool barfs on short files, though (it thinks they're encrypted). It won't touch the startup animation for example :(
