I have a S2 Tivo, 240 model. I applied the Sapper installation to my 8.3 sofware, choosing the 7.3 kernel drivers during the prompt, for the wireless Linksys WUSB NIC.

In the settings the the Network connection details shows:
Type: Wireless adapter
Name: <correct SSID>
Signal: none
IP addr: <correct>
MAC ID: <mac id of the wireless>

My router does not have WEP active nor does it have the MAC address filtering. If I want to change the network setting it say that I do not have a NIC plugged in. If I unplug the USB NIC, the network connection details disappear. When I plug it back in, the infor shows up, with no signal.

What is the work around for this? I tried loading the 8.3 kernel drivers, but since the sapper installs the 7.2 kernel the NIC does not get recognized.

Same problem here but with a Netgear MA111 USB wireless card.
