USB Wireless Adapter

Just wondering what would happen if I tried to plug in my USB Wireless Adapter to the back of my Directivo. I have not tried it yet because I thought it wouldnt be active until the beginning of 08

If it's a model supported by standalone TiVos, it will power up, but that's about it. There's no interface to configure it and the network is disabled. I am skeptical that the features announced for 2008 will be delivered over a network connection - I think it will all be satellite.

You can use such adapters if you "hack" your TiVo as described in the Underground section.
