I'm about to add an esata drive to an upgraded S3 and have a few questions for those that have already done so.

1. Do both drives need to be connected at the same time when executing the commands in linux?

2. Any suggestions or bugs that I need to know about?

Thanks!

1. Yes

2. It's pretty easy, can't think of anything.

Works great for me, 1.5TB of space.

Make SURE you are using a shielded eSATA cable, or you will have unpredictable behavior, depending on how "noisy" your environment is, from an EM point-of-view.
