Help - Tivo Not Working

My Series 2 Tivo is stuck on the gray screen that says
"Welcome. Powering up..."
It has been on this screen for over a day. We have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and are still left with the gray screen.

Does anyone know if there is another way to reset the Tivo?
Does this mean my Tivo is dead?

I your hard drive has failed, sorry. But, it can be replaced easily

Take the drive out of the tivo, hook it to your PC and boot from one of the tools CDs and check if the drive still functions.
