Gray Screen On Both Live Tv Tuners

I picked up (for next to nuttin') a "spare" HR10-250 from a friend. It plays back recorded prgrams fine. All xponders test fine on BOTH tuners. Re-ran guided setup, all sats properly detected.

Problem is when I go to live TV all I get is a gray screen on both tuners. Existing recordings left on unit playback fine. Can't even get the "barker" channels.

Any thoughts? If tuners were bad wouldn't there be a problem with the transponders as well? The box seems to be "stuck" on 6.3B. Could that be the problem?

What about OTA? Are you seeing anything on OTA?

Unfortunately I don't have an OTA cable close enough to this unit try. What about OTA? Are you seeing anything on OTA?

LOL! The problem was the access card! It was an old type card .... put in an exisiting recent card and it works fine.
