i have a humax dlt400f witch i bought from ebay the problem is its from america i bought it thinking it would be ok but its not does neone no is there anything i can do or do i throw it in the bin please help

It would help if we knew where you live. A US TiVo can be made to work in Canada, for example, but not in the UK.

I'm assuming "neone no" means "anyone know"...

i take it from your question that you are not inamerica but you dont say where you are located and dont say what kind of signal source that you have or how it is setup and connected or what your specific problem is maybe if you provided that detail someone could help you

You need NTSC-M video to record, and and NTSC-M compatible TV to view. Its DVD drive can only play Region 1 and Region free DVDs.

It needs subbed to work, and if you are not in the USA or Canada, you can only manually record.
