I'm really looking forward to more of this show. It has a certain intensity that was lacking in shows like The Weakest Link because you know the contestants are all relatively intelligent. Surprised that there are no wheel of fortune winners, though.

The contest between ed toutant and lewsez(sp?) was quite amazing. What was the question that ed toutant got wrong on millionaire which he actually got right? I googled around but couldn't find it.

I've got a bunch of these sitting on my Tivo. I've only watched the first episode, the one that starts with the match between Ken Jennings and the guy from the Pop Culture winning team. Great matchup, but the next match was a real yawner.

None the less, this is a show with lots of potential. I love the fact that the contestants have to actually think, not just regurgitate memorized facts.

Most likely there's only one new episode in the bunch remaining on your tivo. There have been only two actual episodes, and a lot of reruns my tivo caught. The second episode is worth a watch... I was floored by some of the things the contestants could come up with so quickly.

I enjoyed this, a lot. I'm usually not a big game show fan - I'm hooked on Jeopardy, though. Most of the time I find that the current game shows are over produced - they only seem to get to 4 or 5 questions in an hour - I'm looking at you "5th grader". I'll definitely keep the SP.

Thanks for the recommendation here --- just finished watching the final show and I really enjoyed it.

Good speed, good questions..... I liked it. :)

I was going nuts because they were doing a poor job matching the descriptions to the episodes. As a result, I missed a few and kept seeing episodes with "spoiler" information in them. I knew who the final 2 were before I even found all the first round ones.

I didn't see the end.

Ogi forgot to use his mental tricks, I guess. I was impressed that he finally showed some humility. I wondered whether it was an act or genuine cockiness in the past. He lost by 1:30, but claimed it was due to the current events round, which he lost only by 0:40.

I think they tried to limit it mainly to "general knowledge" show winners - you don't really have to know that much to do well on Wheel.
(Then again, the token GSN contestant was a winner on Lingo, whereas WinTuition winners (a) showed more general knowledge and (b) actually won more money.)

So is this it for the show?
