is my Tivo dead?

Hi. I own a Tivo Series 2 with lifetime service.
Couple days ago my Tivo did not start anymore. After unplug/replug it started again. I had to do this again this morning. Now it does not do anything, does not turn on, no video output, no light on the front. I can hear the fan running. I unplug/replugged multiple times and nothing comes up.
Any idea?? Any recommendation to fix it? Is there any chance I can transfer my lifetime service to another unit?

About the only thing you can try is replacing your Tivo's power supply. You can buy replacements at http://www.weaknees.com. If it's a dead power supply, the replacement will get you up and running again and preserve your existing recordings.
